What tog duvet do I need for a UK winter?
13.5 tog is standard for UK winters. If your bedroom is well-heated, 10.5 tog with a throw may be enough.
What does tog actually mean?
Tog measures thermal resistance — how well a duvet traps heat. Higher tog means warmer. It does not measure weight or thickness.
Are all-season duvets worth it?
Yes. A two-part set (4.5 + 9 tog) clips together for winter and separates for summer, saving money and storage space.
